Monodrama ”Ja, mahalac” is the new project of BiH writer Indira Kučuk-Sorguč, who wrote ”Ja,mahaluša”. Dragan Marinković Maca will play the leading role, report Dnevni Avaz.

The play is actually a cabaret and it talks about the male-female relations in BiH, but now from the male point of view.

Marinković said that the monodrama is important because it’ll show the mentality of the BiH men.

Kučuk-Sorguč said that the play is of music theatre which is not a well-known genre in BiH, and that’s why the play’s importance is great. She added that the show will contribute to promotion of language of BiH, humour and mentality.

Nenad Tešić is the music arranger, Mirela  Trepanić is the director, while Marijela Margeta-Hašimbegović is the set designer.

Project is co-financed by Foundation for Music, Theatre and Art, and it will cost 46 000 BAM.

First rehearsals will start in March, while the premiere will be in late April, 2013.
