Banja Luka French investmentPresident of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska (RS) Nedeljko Cubrilovic, talked about the economic and political situation with members of the French delegation, who are visiting the Chamber of Commerce in Banja Luka.

In the delegation was the former mayor of Rambouillet, and now president of the Christian Democratic Party and a candidate for the presidency of France on elections that will be held next year, Jean-Frederic Poisson, an adviser to the French Senate, publicist Gijo de Tielo and a representative of the French provincial Chamber of Commerce Christoph Massar.

They expressed an interest for one of the leading French companies in the field of heating and wastewater treatment “Vejola” to invest in this area and expressed the interest of French investors for the construction of two luxury hotels in the center of Banja Luka, as announced from the Office of the President of Parliament of this entity.

Also, the first steps in cooperation of Banja Luka Airport with the third largest airport in France have been made.

Cubrilovic expressed his satisfaction with the first indication of economic cooperation between the RS and France, noting that the National Assembly is doing everything to improve the business environment through the reform of laws and strategies, and to attract foreign investments that would lead to opening of new workplaces.
