Galatasaray will file an official complaint against Fenerbahçe coach José Mourinho with UEFA and FIFA over alleged racist statements.

The club’s statement emphasized that, in addition to filing a complaint with international football organizations, it will also file a criminal complaint against the Portuguese coach.

“Jose Mourinho, who has regularly used offensive terms against the Turkish people since arriving in Turkey, crossed the line of humanity today with his immoral statements. Due to his racist statements, we are filing a criminal complaint with the prosecutor’s office and a complaint with UEFA and FIFA. In addition, we will monitor the reaction of our ‘moral role model’, the rival club’s coaching staff, to this scandal,” Galatasaray said in a press conference after last night’s derby with Galatasaray (0:0).

This statement caused strong reactions and condemnation from Galatasaray, AA writes.
