In Republika Srpska, 129 inspections of gas stations were carried out in March, and omissions were identified in 71 cases, so misdemeanor warrants worth 1,037,200 BAM were issued, the Republic Inspectorate said.
The subject of control was compliance with the Decree on limiting the margin when forming the prices of liquid petroleum products, according to which the maximum wholesale margin is prescribed at 0.06 BAM per liter, and the maximum retail 0.25 BAM per liter.
“The prescribed penalties are high, and every violation will be strictly sanctioned,” it was added.
In addition to gas stations, market inspectors also controlled markets and shopping malls where 4,239 BAM of illegally obtained profits were found, the Inspectorate said.
