Gazi Husrev-beg Medresa in Sarajevo is Marking 477th Year Anniversary

Gazi-Husrev-begova-medresa-SarajevoGazi Husrev-beg medresa in Sarajevo will mark its 477th year anniversary of continuous educational work on Wednesday, 8 January.

On this occasion, tomorrow at 14:30 at the amphitheater Gazi Husrev-beg medresa there will be an official ceremony. At the official academy, among other things, special recognition will take place for the affirmation of the educational institutions of its graduates: prof. dr. Adnan Silajdžić, professor at the Faculty of Islamic Studies in Sarajevo, and Ferhat Šeta, diplomats, as well as other recognitions and acknowledgments.

High officials of the religious, cultural and public life of B&H will take part. In addition to the central ceremony, there will be a ceremonial session of the Council of Teachers on occasion of Day of School on Wednesday at 13:00, announced Gazi-Husrev-beg medresa.
