Georgina Rodriguez took to social media to showcase a vintage fashion look, reviving the glamour of the ’90s by wearing a John Galliano creation for Dior from the Spring/Summer 1999 collection.
The model shared photos from the Dior exhibition Designer of Dreams held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. For the occasion, Rodriguez chose a vintage Dior dress as part of her all-black ensemble.
She aimed to convey the ’90s glamour with additional accessories. The model opted for the vintage Dior fit from Galliano’s 1999 collection. The top featured a deep neckline with a black belt around the waist, while the lower part followed her body’s silhouette.
Her look included vintage black lace gloves with intricate floral patterns. While the original 1999 runway version of the outfit featured a beret and a scarf around the neck, Georgina omitted those details.
Alongside photos from the event, Georgina also shared a video showing how the original creation appeared on the model during its runway debut.
Fashion stylist Alba Melendo was responsible for this look, while hairstylist Serpiente styled Rodriguez’s black hair into soft waves.
The model and influencer consistently draws attention with her public appearances, particularly the fashion choices she makes for events like the Venice Film Festival or the Cannes Film Festival, Klix.ba writes.
