In the last number of renowned German sports magazine ‘Kicker’ which focuses on world football, there was a brief report on birthday party of BiH football player Edin Džeko.

‘It was the birthday party that Sarajevo has never seen before. More than 2000 children filled one of the sports halls in the capital of BIH, in order to attend the birthday party of Edin Džeko’, reports Kicker.

‘Striker who played for Wolfsburg and now for Manchester City celebrated his 27th birthday, and together with UNICEF organised a special match. Several BiH players, among them Vedad Ibišević, and boxer Felix Sturm, played the match for children with special needs’, reports Kicker and adds: ‘The result was 4:4 in the end, and Džeko scored one of the matches, and Sturm one assistance. But not just that, he bought two Dežko’s jerseys for 11 000 USD, and all the money will go to charity.’
