German police shot a suspect near the Israeli Consulate General in Munich on Thursday, local media reported.
According to the newspaper “Sueddeutsche Zeitung”, the suspect was shot near the museum about the crimes of the Nazi regime, which is located near the Israeli Consulate General in the center of Munich.
“Police officers shot at a suspicious person,” Munich police said in a brief statement, without giving further details.
The police immediately blocked off the area.
