Farmers also received support from Bavarian Prime Minister Markus Zeder, who demanded the resignation of Chancellor Scholz and new elections.
The German judiciary also believes that farmers have every right to block highways. He just ordered them to miss the ambulance, fire department and other services.
The unpopular Soltz government made concessions in December, partially softening the decision to end subsidies. But the farmers want back everything that was taken from them.
“Partial concessions for us only mean delayed death,” said the president of the Association of German Farmers, Joachim Rukvid.
Aleksandar Dobrint, president of the representative group of Christian Democrats in the Bundestag, believes that the German government has brought the country into chaos.
“We are living in a polarization that has not been seen in this country for decades. The government destroyed our economic growth, caused an energy crisis, but did not solve the migration crisis. It is a polarization that has not been seen in this country,” he said.
