PETER-SORENSENDelegation of the European Union to Bosnia and Herzegovina has not been able to answer who would be the successor to Head of EU Delegation to BiH and EU Special Representative to BiH Peter Sorensen, even though BiH has been without special representative of this institution for more than two months.

A spokesman for the EU Delegation to BiH Andy McGuffie said to FENA that the process of appointment of a new EU Special Representative and Head of the EU Delegation to BiH is ongoing and that the European External Action Service (EAS) would release this information “in due time”.

Position of the Special Representative and Head of the EU Delegation to BiH has been vacant since 1 November, after the Danish diplomat Peter Sorensen, whose mandate in Bosnia and Herzegovina began in 2011, took up a new post.
