Gold and Silver Medal for B&H in Kenya

Bosna Sema Kenya klix.baStudents of the Turkish-Bosnian Una Sana College, Iman Karajić and Džana Huremagić from Bihać have achieved notable results with the project “Shake It Up – Clean It Up!”, winning the gold medal at the Golden Climate International Environment Project Olympiad (GCIEPO) competition in Nairobi, Kenya.

In addition, a student from the Sarajevo College Džana Delić won the silver medal with the project “Organic Pesticides for Every Household”.

Around 200 students from Pakistan, Indonesia, Germany, Macedonia, Turkey and other countries participated in the competition which was held from April 29th until May 4th.

GCIEPO is a scientific Olympiad held every year in Nairobi over five days. The competition is divided into three science categories: energy, engineering, ecology, and a category for primary school pupils, said the educational institution “Bosna Sema”.
