Good Cooperation: Austrians Interested in the Wood Sector in B&H

suad-eco-sigmund-nemeti-sastanakRepresentatives of the Commercial Department of the Austrian Embassy in BiH “Advantage Austria” visited the company for design and manufacture of furniture “Ećo Company” and the Center for Specialized Training “Format”, said people of “Ećo Company”.

Director of Ećo Company, Suad Ećo presented the work of the company and the current good cooperation with Austrian firms when it comes to raw materials and machinery.

Also, “Ećo Company” has designed and carried out several interior decoration jobs in Austria.

Advantage Austria presented its activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and future plans related to linking the two markets through cooperation in modern companies. They showed great interest in the wood sector, as a promising branch in BiH.

Representatives of the Commercial Department of the Austrian Embassy expressed their positive impression with the modern and progressive companies in the furniture industry, such as the “Ećo Company”. They were particularly impressed by the Center for Specialized Training “Format”, which deals with non-formal education of adults and which, through its practical training, enables people to work in the real sector.

They also talked about the upcoming event that will be organized by Advantage Austria, with the aim of bringing together the most representative companies in the wood sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Austria, at which also Ećo Company will present itself.

Ećo Company and the Center Format expressed great pleasure and honor to start cooperation with the Commercial Department of the Austrian Embassy in Sarajevo, and they hope for successful joint projects in the future.
