According to the Minister of Health in the Government of TC, Bahrudin Hadziefendic, the positive or essential list of medicines for the canton is aligned with a generic list of the Government of the FBiH, according to which should be aligned all cantonal lists.

He emphasized that the Government of TC is the first cantonal government, which made this kind of essential list.

He said that the new list is aligned with all rules and legal regulations and he considers that there is no room for complaints and appeals.

He emphasized that the new essential list includes all domestic producers, adding that this was not the case with the previous one, which was called domestic but on which, according to Hadziefendic, from 5 domestic manufacturers were present only 3 of them.

He stated that the share of domestic producers on the new list is 40 %. He added that the list included producers who meet the requirements for it.

Commission for creation of this list was composed of experts from the Ministry of Health of TC in the field of primary, secondary and tertiary health care, as well as the Health Insurance Institute.
