governmentWith the revision of this year’s federal budget, which was approved in recent days by the House of Representatives and the House of Peoples of the FBiH, the Government of FBiH allocated funds for help and support of the affected areas in a total amount of 4 million BAM.

To recall, the Federal Fund for assistance of areas affected by natural disasters in the territory of FBiH was supposed to allocate funds for municipalities Banovici, Bihac, Cazin, Doboj Jug, Gracanica, Gradacac, Kladanj, Kljuc, Maglaj, Olovo, Sanski Most, Sapna, Srebrenik, Tesanj, Travnik, Vares, Visoko , Zavidovici, Maglaj, Sapna and Zepce, but the problem arose after the fund ran out of money.

A large number of commitments related to this issue was made in the mandate of the previous government. However, in order to solve the burning issues and facilitate the return of the population of those municipalities whose homes, were completely destroyed by floods and landslides caused by flooding in 2014, the Government of FBiH, at the initiative of Prime Minister Fadil Novalic and Minister of Finance Jelka Milicevic, proposed allocation of resources through the budget revision.

Amounts for this purpose increased in comparison to previously established programs of expenditure for 2016, among others, due to savings that were realized by moratorium on recruitment in the administration of FBiH.
