The Government of FBiH identified criteria for distribution of funds of this year’s Budget for the FBiH 2018 to the Ministry of Finances of the FBiH from the position of current transfers to other levels of authorities and funds, and which are intended as financial help to cantons and municipalities.

The total amount of this aid is 18.000.000 BAM, out of which cantons will receive 6.000.000 BAM, and municipalities 12.000.000 BAM.

Criteria for distribution of funds are population, area, and number of pupils in elementary and high education, and indices of the Bureau of Statistics of the FBiH and Tax Administration of the FBiH will be used for their application.

As one of the additional criteria for distribution of funds to cantons and municipalities will be taken the decrease of employment rate on December 31, 2017, in relation to previous fiscal year, as well as projects of importance for development of certain municipalities.

The Government of the FBiH will determine amounts and dynamics of allocation of funds to individual cantons and municipalities with special decision, as well the way of reporting on their expenditures, as stated from the Office for Public Relations of the Government of FBiH.
