Government of FBiH allocates Two Million BAM for Sarajevo Airport

The Government of the Federation of BiH adopted the Program for spending part of the capital transfer funds to public companies, intended for the improvement of air traffic in the Federation of BiH, established by the Budget of the FBiH for 2022 to the Federal Ministry of Transport and Communications.

The adopted program is PE International Airport Sarajevo d.o.o. Sarajevo approved the allocation of funds in the amount of 2,000,000 BAM for the purchase of a rescue and firefighting vehicle with a water tank capacity of 12,500 liters and a foam tank of 1,500 liters, 6×6 drive.

The Federal Ministry of Transport and Communications is in charge of continuous monitoring of the expenditure of these funds and of signing an agreement with the Sarajevo International Airport that will regulate the method of transfer of funds, implementation of the public procurement procedure and reporting on the funds spent.

The Sarajevo International Airport is obliged to report on the expenditure of funds quarterly to the Federal Ministry of Transport and Communications.

After spending, and no later than 28.2.2023, the Airport is obliged to prepare an overall report on the spent transfer funds and submit it to the relevant federal ministry together with the Supervisory Board’s decision on its adoption.
