“Eid is joy of our souls, kindness of our hearts, the width of our hands with which we welcome our friends. We are welcoming this holiday encouraged by the strength of our faith and by her beauty, firm in the belief that only we can achieve success and salvation only in this way,” said in a traditional greeting on the occasion of Eid al Fitr Reis-ul-ulema of the Islamic Community in BiH, Husein ef. Kavazovic.
“Allah s.w.t. has rewarded us with Ramadan. Our hearts are calmed down in this month and anchored in the glorification of God’s name. We passed this peace to our families, in our community and in the beautiful landscapes of our country,” said Kavazovic.
He emphasized that the believers hardened in Ramadan, restore their strength and met with themselves, both with their strengths and weaknesses.
“From our Ramadan meeting with ourselves, said Prophet of Islam s.a.w.s., we came out with the knowledge that our spiritual struggle does not stop, but we have to think of it constantly and always be devoted to it,” said Reis ul Ulema.
He emphasized that Eid is welcomed as a joy for believers, as a reward for Ramadan effort, emphasizing that this great Muslim holiday will be marked in the houses and mosques, in families and in neighborhoods, and urged to celebrate it in dignified and modest way, as befits.
“Let us share the joy of Eid with our closest neighbors and with everyone else by giving them a kind word as the best Eid gift. Let the peace that is the core of our sublime religion spread around us in the days of Eid,” said Kavazovic.
With the words Eid Mubarak, he congratulated Eid al Fitr to all Muslims in BiH, Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia and the diaspora, wishing them to welcome it in peace, happiness and prosperity with its nearest and dearest.
