In the first eight months of this year, B&H an export value of five billion and 580 million KM, which is 7,4 percent more than in the same period last year.
In this period, imports amounted to nine billion and 844 million KM, which is 2,1 percent less than in the same period last year, according to statistics from the B&H Statistics Agency.
The export-import ratio was 56,7 percent, while the foreign trade deficit amounted to four billion and 263 million KM.
Exports to EU countries amounted to four billion and 146 million KM, which is 8,9 percent more than in the same period in 2012, while the imports amounted to five billion and 982 million KM, which is 2,5 percent less than in the same period last year. The export-import ratio was 69,3 percent.
