This year, for the first time, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) will have its own representative on the jury of the world’s most prestigious creativity festival – Cannes Lions. Haris Mujanovic, CEO of the Via Media agency, will evaluate the most innovative campaigns of the global advertising industry.
“Being the first from BiH on the Cannes Lions jury means that we are no longer arriving on the world stage, but are now a part of it. This is not only personal recognition and recognition for Via Media, but also a signal that a new generation of creatives from the Balkans is taking its place in the global industry,” said Mujanovic.
On the official festival website, he is introduced as “the driving force behind one of the most awarded campaigns in the Adriatic region for Bingo, showing that strong, strategically grounded creativity can come from anywhere and leave a powerful mark around the world.”
Mujanovic has been in the world of advertising and branding since 2012, inspired by the idea that creativity has the power to improve the world we live in. Today, he leads the Via Media agency, which he has positioned as one of the most awarded in the region. Under his leadership, Via Media was named Agency of the Year at the Golden Drum in 2023 and has also been awarded at the Balcannes, Epica, Sempl, Somoborac, and No Limit festivals.
Cannes Lions 2025 will be held from June 16th to 20th.
