Haris Silajdzic is a Candidate for the UN Envoy?

Haris Silajdzic novosti.rsArabic satellite channel Al Arabiya TV on Saturday night reported, calling on an unnamed senior official of the UN in New York, that the High Representative of the UN and the Arab League for Syria Staffan de Mistura, will step down from his position next month.

Al Arabiya reported that possible candidates are Dutch diplomat Sigrid Kaag, the president of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), who was coordinator of the joint team of the UN and the OPCW for the destruction of the Syrian chemical weapons in the period from 2013 to 2014, and the former member of the Presidency of BiH Haris Silajdzic.

They are both speaking the perfect Arabic language, reported Al Arabiya.
