High Representative in BiH Valentin Inzko visited Banja Luka yesterday. Inzko met with the leader of Democratic Party (DP) Dragan Čavić, prime minister of RS Aleksandar Džombić and with the president of RS Milorad Dodik.
Inzko spoke with Čavić about the current political situation in BiH, about the Sejdić-Finci ruling, and also about the military assets.
Prime minister of RS Aleksandar Dzombic informed Inzko about the current infrastructure and energy projects in RS.
Inzko said that the topics of the meetings were current political and economic situation in BiH, as well as the fulfilment of the requirements for closure of OHR. Inzko added that the year 2012 has been a year of stagnation, and he expects that in the next year BiH makes more progress.
High Representative in BiH said that he is grateful to Dodik for he extended Inzko’s mandate in BiH, because every time someone in BiH mentions the third entity, the international community extends the mandate of the High Representative. Inzko added that the OHR will close once BiH becomes fully functional.
Inzko also met with mufti of Banja Luka Edhem Čamdžić and gave him 10 000 BAM for the reconstruction of Ferhat-Paša mosque in Banja Luka, and said that in the January he will give money for the reconstruction of the orthodox Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in Mostar.
