On Thursday, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić received the high representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina Christian Schmidt in Belgrade, with whom he discussed current events and the European integration and development processes in the region.
“I emphasized that Serbia strongly advocates for good neighborly relations, cooperation and stability, as well as respect for international public law, which are a necessary prerequisite for any further economic and social progress,” Vučić wrote on Instagram after the meeting.
He also said that he reiterated Serbia’s unequivocal support for the Dayton Peace Agreement, which also respects the territorial integrity of BiH and Republika Srpska within BiH.
“Serbia will not support anything contrary to that,” said Vučić.
