High School Graduates in Konjic to receive 200 BAM

The city of Konjic will soon allocate high school graduates a one-time assistance, which continues the set of measures for young people, in order to create opportunities for them to have a better life, education, and starting a family.

After the meeting, Mayor Osman Ćatić said that Konjic strives to help young people every day through numerous programs.

“The city of Konjic continuously strives to help young people, especially when it comes to education. We have expanded the scope of rights so that as many young people as possible receive scholarships, there are the most successful students and high school students, national team members, high school students who are training for trades, the most active members of cultural associations, the Red Cross, etc. We are trying to help young people as much as possible in their education. Considering the situation we are in and inflation, we wanted and looked for a model of how to best help parents of high school graduates,” said Mayor Ćatić.

He emphasized that the possibilities from the budget were analyzed for this decision.

“We have analyzed the possibilities of the City Budget and what we can do, so we have prepared a decision that will be found at the next session of the City Council, to provide all high school graduates with a one-time compensation in the amount of 200 BAM”, said the mayor of Konjic, Osman Ćatić.

He said that the city administration will continue to strive to make the dreams of young people come true in the coming period.

“In this way, we want to wish young people a successful completion of their high school education, and wish them luck in their future educational and life steps. We hope that with their full commitment they will change the world for the better, and we as the City
the administration will continue to strive to create programs that will make the wishes and plans of young people possible, and the dreams and aspirations realized,” emphasized Ćatić, Klix.ba reports.
