High School Project in BiH: Driving Simulator to safer Traffic

The Cazin Association for the Promotion of Traffic Safety created a driving simulator with high school students. Namely, during the school year, they collected money in various actions, and the support of the city of Cazin was not missing either. This is a project that is of great importance and will greatly facilitate the passing of the driving test, and therefore contribute to the improvement of road safety.

Driving a car is a motor skill that a beginner driver still doesn’t know. The goal of this driving simulator is to provide conditions for acquiring the necessary knowledge and skills that will turn unknown traffic conditions into familiar ones.

“If the students have this type of first contact with a motor vehicle, they will be able to relax later when they sit in a real passenger vehicle and it will be much easier for them, and thus we will facilitate the procedures of getting to know the motor vehicle for the instructors who will do that part more easily”, says Aladin Žunić, president of the association for the promotion of traffic safety.

Students and members of the Association for the Promotion of Traffic Safety are proud of this project, who successfully realized it with their efforts and work.

“I am surprised how the simulator turned out, the idea was to create something new, innovative, which is not yet available in our canton. When I tried the simulator, the impression is indescribable”, points out Azur Džogić, a member of the Association for the Promotion of Traffic Safety.

“We tried to collect as many funds as possible. This took place through various actions, such as, for example, the chestnut festival”, says Minela Sadiković, a member of the Association for the Promotion of Traffic Safety.

This time there was no lack of support from the City Administration of Cazin, where they note that these projects are also important for raising the awareness of all road users.

“They are indicators and every day they give us the opportunity to learn that fast driving kills, property and, most importantly, health should be protected,” emphasizes Jusuf Bajraktarević, advisor to the mayor of Cazin.

The Association for the Promotion of Traffic Safety will continue to work actively in the coming period. They announced a large number of projects, all with the aim of improving traffic safety.
