As of January 1, electricity in the Bosnian entity of Republika Srpska (RS) will be 7.7 percent more expensive.

This decision was made by the RS Energy Regulatory Commission at today’s meeting.

The new price also includes the network fee, which has not changed.

The tariff thresholds have not been changed, so, according to an unofficial estimate, for a household that consumes 500 kilowatts, the total increase will be around 7.5 BAM.

The last time electricity became more expensive for households in RS was just two years ago, when electricity consumption thresholds were first introduced.
