On Thursday, 6 March at 17:00, there will be a ceremony to open the new offices of the German Chamber of Commerce in B&H (AHK BiH). The hosts of the ceremony will be Director of the German Chamber of Commerce in B&H Gunther Neubert and President of the Association Wirtschaftsverein B&H Robert Kordić. The guest of honor will be Ambassador of Germany to B&H Ulrike Maria Knotz.
AHK B&H is the official representative of the interests of the German economy to politics and administration in the country, a platform for the exchange of information and experiences. AHK is part of a network that is made up of 120 chambers of commerce in over 80 countries in the world. They are present in all countries with whom Germany has good trade relations and are of great significance for the German economy. AHK in B&H is made up of two organizations that sit under one roof: Representative of the Germany Chamber of Commerce in B&H and the Association Wirtschaftsverein B&H.
Representative of the Germany Chamber of Commerce in B&H is the official representative of the German economy in the country and the first contact address for the B&H market. The main task of the representative in Sarajevo supports German and local economies in obtaining relevant information about the economy. The German Embassy, Agency for Promotion of Investment and Exports ‘Germany Trade & Invest’ (GTAI) and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) are some of the most important partners.
