ArtCentar1The Association “Art Centar” from Lukavac started in the end of July the implementation of the “History of street art” project. It is based on painting chosen works of modern art on the facades in Lukavac in order to stimulate volunteering, educate the citizens and transform the urban environment visually.

The first phase of the project will be finished mid-august and it includes the interpretation of two paintings of modern art dedicated to the subject of border moments of human existence: “Guernica” (1937) by Pablo Picasso and “The scream” (1893 – 1910) by Edvard Munch.

The sponsor of the first phase are the Foundation of the Tuzla community, Youth Bank Lukavac. Besides members of the Art Centar, pupils of the Construction and Geodesy school and all interested citizens will also participate.
