The Yaliboyu houses, located on both sides of the Yesilirmak River in Amasya, Turkey, reflect on the river’s surface and captivate with their breathtaking beauty.

The Turkish city of Amasya is also known as the “City of Princes” because Ottoman princes, as well as other children of Ottoman sultans, received their education there.

This city is considered one of the key centers of cultural tourism in Turkey, preserving 8.500 years of historical heritage. From Mount Harsena and the tombs of the kings of Pontus to museums, the Sultan Bayezid II complex, the Maiden’s Palace, and authentic streets steeped in history, Amasya boasts sites included on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.

It is believed that Amasya was home to more than 15 civilizations, AA writes.
