The Homeland Movement, a radical right-wing party in Croatia, which is part of the government, has issued a declaration calling for the establishment of a new federal unit in Bosnia and Herzegovina, or a third entity under the guise of protecting Croats.
In the declaration, the DP calls Croatia a signatory and guarantor of the Dayton Peace Agreement, although this country is not a guarantor of the agreement that ended the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
They claim that the essence of the Dayton Agreement has been changed to the detriment of Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina and that the FBiH is being transformed into, as they say, a Bosniak entity.
Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković said that he had not been informed of the Homeland Movement’s initiative, and announced a coalition-level meeting to determine the meaning of the initiative.
