Honorary Consulate of BiH opened in Sydney

Honorary Consulate of BiH SydneyAmbassador of BiH in Australia Bakir Sadovic and the newly appointed Honorary Consul of BiH for the region New South Wales based in Sydney Djemila Gabriel officially opened the Honorary Consulate of BiH in Sydney on the 27th of January 2017.

The opening ceremony was attended by members of the consular corps from New South Wales, prominent public figures from Sydney, and representatives of BH communities in this part of Australia.

Sadovic and Gabriel, after a short ceremony, presented an exhibition of photographs of stecak tombstones, which were last year listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, in the representative premises of the newly opened honorary consulate in the center of Sydney.

Besides the photo exhibition, attendees had the opportunity to meet tourism and economic potential of our country in the Honorary Consulate of BiH, as said from the MFA.
