Hospital in BiH prohibits Visits amid Increased Number of Coronavirus Cases

SKB Mostar Due to the epidemiological situation regarding the increase in the number of cases of COVID19, the Committee for Hospital Infection Control of the University Clinical Hospital Mostar made, on September 6, 2023, a decision prohibiting visits to high-risk departments in SKB Mostar, they confirmed for Bljesak.info from University Clinical Hospital Mostar.

The ban applies to the Department of Pulmonary Diseases and TB, the Clinic for Infectious Diseases, the Clinic for Oncology, the Clinic for Neurosurgery, the Clinic for Children’s Diseases, the Clinical Department for Hematology, the Clinical Department for Cardiac Surgery and all intensive care units.

“Controlled visits (1-2 visitors) are allowed at other organizational units with mandatory wearing of protective equipment by both visitors and employees,” the Mostar hospital told Bljesak.info.

When asked about the number of people infected with the Covid 19 virus, we did not receive any information.
