Hostert: We will do everything to ensure 90’s are never repeated in BiH

She was taken from wartime Sarajevo to Germany as a civilian victim of the war. Another example of a young and successful person is Jasmina Hostert, a member of the Bundestag, who is staying in her hometown these days.

In an interview with Federal TV, she referred to political rhetoric and ideologies. Once again, she underlined that Europe is aware of the injustice done to BiH and that it would never allow war in our country.

“We will do everything to ensure that the 1990s are never repeated in Bosnia and Herzegovina. That would be a huge disaster. The European Union is aware of its mistakes in the nineties. We now have a stronger lobby in Germany, Europe, the international community – war will certainly not happen. The rhetoric used is, unfortunately, normal in an election year,” said Hostert.

Jasmina Hostert is a German politician of Bosnian descent. She is a member of the Social Democratic Party of Germany
