The House of Peoples adopted the Budget of FBiH in the Amount of 2.88 billion BAM

The Budget of the FBiH for this year was adopted yesterday in the largest amount ever – 2.88 billion BAM.

This act was confirmed by the House of Representatives of the Parliament of FBiH on Wednesday, January 17, and yesterday by the House of Peoples as well at the extraordinary session.

The Law on Execution of the Budget of FBiH for this year was also adopted, as well as the Amendments to the Budget Law of the FBiH, which allows the adoption of the budget of the city of Mostar.

A budget in the amount of 2.88 billion BAM was adopted with 33 votes in favour, 6 votes against and 6 abstentions. Delegates from parties SDA, HDZ BiH-HNS and SBB were in favour, while those from SDP were against.

The approval on this year’s financial plans of out-of- the budget funds was given as well, the financial plan of the Regulatory Commission for Energy in FBiH / FERK was adopted, as well as the conclusion that FERK is tasked to implement a procedure for hiring the employees that they need.
