Positive News: Additional 50 BAM for Retirees with the lowest Retirements

The Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo will give an additional 50 BAM to the retirees with the lowest retirement, which will be paid to them together with their retirements for the month of January.

It is a program of social support for retirees that the Municipality of Novi Grad is implementing for the third year in a row. This assistance will be given to about 11,686 retirees. The Municipality of Novi Grad has allocated a total of 575,000 BAM from this year’s budget and the funds will be paid to the account of the Federal Institute of PIO / MIO.

Ibrahim Hota expressed gratitude to the Municipality of Novi Grad on behalf of the Association of Retirees, and thanked them for their understanding of the financial and health status of retirees in this municipality.

“As in previous years, we are hoping that these funds will come in right hands this year as well. Additional 50 BAM will be paid to retirees whose monthly salary does not exceed the amount of 330 BAM. Those funds will be distributed to the retirees later, in accordance with their health and material situation,” noted Hota.

Mayor of the Municipality of Novi Grad, Semir Efendic, expressed his satisfaction with the fact that they were able to allocate funds afain this year in order for all retirees who have a minimum retirement to receive an additional 50 BAM with their retirement for the month of January.
