house-of-peoples1Continuation of the sitting of The House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, which was postponed on March 17th, due to the absence of three delegates from Serb Republic, will be held on Monday, March 30.  However, the issue of contention, election of members of Joint Security and Intelligence Committee on Supervision of the work of Intelligence and Security Agency of BiH (OSA), was taken off the agenda as agreed at the meeting of the expanded Collegium of the House of Peoples.

”This issue will not be discussed on the meetings of the House of Peoples until it is resolved. We shall try to hold the meeting of the Joint Collegium of both Houses of the B&H Parliamentary Assembly in order to try to resolve this problem that arose at the first place in House of Representatives, and not in the House of Peoples”, said the Chairman of the House of Peoples, Bariša Čolak.

dom-naroda1The Deputy Chair of the House of Peoples, Ognjen Tadić, highlighted that as a member of the Collegium, he was informed today about the real reasons of the absence of the three Serbian delegates, Sredoje Nović and Nebojša Radmanović from the SNSD and Dragutin Rodić from the DNS, from the last meeting of the House of Peoples.

“Personally, I am glad that this was focused only on one question, because I was under the impression that there may be a lot of things going around. This question is not difficult by itself, and it is necessary to reach the solution mathematically ”, said the Deputy Chair of the House of Peoples, Ognjen Tadić.

He highlighted that the Club of Serbian delegates had unanimous agreement on the issue of election of members of Joint Security and Intelligence Committee on Supervision of the work of Intelligence and Security Agency of BiH, and that the problem was in the House of Representatives.

The Second Deputy Chairman of the House of Peoples, Safet Softić, expects that it might come to an agreement over the appointment of the Secretary of both Houses and the Secretary of the Common Services of the BiH Parliament, until Wednesday.
