How many Caregivers from BiH is employed in Germany?

caregiversSince the Agreement on employment of medical workers from BiH on jobs of caregiver in Germany entered into force in May 2013, a total of 1,850 young nurses and caregivers from BiH found employment in that country.

“On the jobs of caregiver in Germany in 2015 was employed 870 workers from BiH. In 2013, 186 workers was employed, and 566 of them in 2014. This makes the total of 1,622 workers, out of which 161 person is on the Project for recruitment of medical staff of Triple Win,” said the Director of the Labour and Employment Agency of BiH, Muamer Bandic, at a press conference.

Another 228 people got the job in the first 2 months of this year in Germany through this agency.

When it comes to Slovenia, added Bandic, in the period of 3 years of successful cooperation between the Labour and Employment Agency of BiH and Employment Service of the Republic of Slovenia in the implementation of the Agreement of the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Republic of Slovenia on employment of BiH citizens in Slovenia, a total of 4,477 new job offers were received for 9,794 people. Out of these, 6,708 contracts on employment were signed and 5,721 work permits were issued to citizens of BiH.

Most wanted occupations in Slovenia were the driver, welder, builder, hydro and electro isolator.

Bandic stated that the Labour and Employment Agency of BiH will monitor activities on the initiated agreements on employment with the Russian Federation, the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Hungary, as well as the Agreement on seasonal employment in the Republic of Croatia.

The Agency will also participate in the negotiations for the conclusion of the Agreement of the Council of Ministers and Government of Montenegro on the protection of workers from BiH who work in Montenegro and the protection of workers from Montenegro who work in BiH.
