The meeting of the Committee of donors is organized by United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Ministry of Civil Affairs, BHMAC and the Demining Commission, the ambassadors of the countries involved in anti-mine programmes will attend too.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina there are still 9,154 suspected micro-locations with more than 120,000 mines. This is exactly why a good strategy for dealing with mines is important. The progress of this Strategy will be evaluated at the Board of Donors.

Last year the Ministry of Civil Affairs has already provided a funding of 100,000 KM from BiH institutions in the implementation of resolving the mine issue in 2016. It is expected that by the end of 2016 20 square kilometres of suspicious area will be cleared.
