Drivers in FB&H are apparently not very good in learning lessons from terrifying traffic accidents in previous years throughout FB&H. This is evidenced by the data that fast driving is the most frequent cause of traffic accidents on the roads in FB&H.

In the period from January to September 2015 the most traffic accidents occurred in the Sarajevo Canton (8,508), followed by the Zenica-Doboj Canton (3,401), the Central Bosnia Canton (2,454) and the Una-Sana Canton (2,229).

These are the leading cantons according to the number of traffic accidents, while minimum increase or even decrease in the number of traffic accidents has been recorded in other cantons.

Although 1,966 traffic accidents were recorded in the Tuzla Canton in first nine months of 2015, as much as 880 people were injured and 23 people were killed.

Drivers are those who were injured most frequently in all traffic accidents, but an increase in the number of injured and killed pedestrians was also recorded. Hence, 30 pedestrians were killed n FB&H in 2015.

According to the statistical data of the Federal Police Administration, the most reckless drivers and those who caused the largest number of traffic accidents are in the age group between 18 and 23 years, but a large number of traffic accidents were also caused by drivers between 30 and 40 years of age.
