How much could the Football Association of BiH earn by Qualifying for EURO 2024?

Placement at EURO 2024 would not only make the army of fans of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team happy because of their first ever appearance at the European Championship, but would also fill the coffers of the home of football in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In March, the Dragons will have the opportunity to qualify for the EURO through additional qualifications. It would be the first appearance on the big European stage, which would be a great sporting success.

The success, however, would also be financial, because the Dragons would receive millions of euros in the N/FS BiH coffers. Namely, just for placing at the EURO in Germany, the Federation would return 9.25 million euros to Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is the amount of the prize for the qualification, but that is not all.

Each useful result would bring with it an additional monetary reward. Namely, a draw in the group stage is worth 750 thousand euros, while a win earns twice as much, 1.5 million.

Qualification for the next round of the competition, the round of 16, is an additional 2 million euros in earnings, the quarter-finals are worth 3.25 million, and the semi-finals are 5 million euros.

Logically, the richest prizes follow for the winners of the European Championship. The best national team of the “Old Continent” will earn 10 million euros, while the finalist will receive 7 million.

The national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina will play additional qualification matches at the end of March 2024. Placement in Germany itself would be a historic success, and a financial injection during the construction of hybrid fields and other projects would be all that the Executive Board of N/FS BiH wishes for.
