A total of 165 million BAM was collected on a special sub-account of the Single Account on which the special toll is being collected since February 1, when the application of the Amendments to the Law on Excise Taxes started, as announced by the spokesperson of the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA BiH), Ratko Kovacevic.

He recalled that a special toll is collected in the amount of 0.25 BAM per liter of derivative that is sold in the market of BiH.

“These funds are on special sub-account of the Single Account and they will be distribited when the Administrative Board / AB / ITA issues a special act, i.e. the decision on allocation of coefficients for distribution of these funds to the RS, the FBiH and Brcko District,” stated Kovacevic.

According to the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH, the session of ITA will be held on Tuesday, July 10.

Previous attempts to reach an agreement on the allocation of excises between the finance ministers of BiH and entities were not successful.
