12939705_1753628288207181_46635014_nCentral Bank of BiH (CBBiH) yesterday, on the 7th of April 2016, paid an amount of 18,826,744.16 BAM in the budget of BiH institutions on the basis of the Decision of the Governing Board on the distribution of the net profit that CBBiH achieved in the year of 2015.

Net profit of CBBiH for the year of 2015 amounted to 31,377,906.94 BAM. Of that amount, 60 % or 18,826,744.16 BAM was transferred on account to obligations to the budget of BiH institutions in accordance with Article 27 of Law on CBBiH, while 40 % or 12,551,162.78 BAM was distributed on general reserves of CBBiH.

The achieved financial result is satisfactory, considering the situation on the financial market. Interest rates on the market have been in continuous decline, recording even negative values, and yields on the capital market had the same trend. Bearing in mind that the spectrum of investments in certain financial instruments is very rigidly determined by the Law on CBBiH, it made the investment of foreign exchange reserves even more complex.

CBBiH transferred around 421 million BAM, including part of profit in 2015, on the account of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH, which is a in charge of the budget of the institutions of BiH, since the start of implementation of Article 27 of Law on CBBiH in 2004.
