skenderijaaSkenderija plateau, which is devastated and undermines the reputation of the capital of BiH for years, will be renovated soon. The works that were supposed to begin at the end of last month were prolonged due to the complaint of one of the bidders in the tender for the reconstruction of the plateau.

Director of PC Centar Skenderija Amer Kapo said that they are currently waiting for the decision of the Procurement Review Body of BiH, and their green light will allow the beginning of works whose value is estimated at 900,000 BAM.

“Public procurement procedure was opened, and according to the procedure, we have chosen the best price. However, the second placed company appealed on this decision, although we do not know exactly why. We sent the entire documentation to the Procurement Review Body of BiH, and the process is currently taking place,” said Amer Kapo.

Kapo emphasized that the reconstruction of the plateau will be done up to areas with merchants, which includes a complete reconstruction.

“We will put the best quality plates, and the works will cost about 900.000 BAM, from the loan of Razvojna Bank,” added Kapo.

According to some findings, most acceptable offer was from the company Unigradnja, and company Sela, which was second placed in the tender, appealed on the decision.
