The High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Christian Schmidt, met in Berlin with German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul and informed him that the current highest priority in BiH, which is also the biggest problem, is the implementation of the rule of law, his office announced yesterday.
The Office of the High Representative (OHR) announced yesterday that Schmidt informed the German minister about the current developments in BiH, as well as about the challenges and opportunities on its path to European Union (EU) membership.
“BiH is a European country and belongs in the EU. Although the political situation at this moment is unsatisfactory, I thank Germany for its constant support of BiH and the OHR,” Schmidt stated.
