Hungarian Helicopters arrived at Camp Butmir to reinforce the Aviation Detachment

Hungarian reserve troops arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina today, landing by helicopter at Camp Butmir as preparations for Exercise Quick Response 2026 continue. Aviation Detachement Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Alessandro Guadagno, welcome them.

Their rapid deployment by air demonstrates EUFOR’s ability to reinforce its presence quickly when required a tangible expression of readiness, responsiveness and credibility.

As Quick Response 2026 moves forward, EUFOR continues to demonstrate its ability to rapidly generate and deploy additional forces, maintaining a credible and effective presence in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
