Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said “Peace has a Name – Donald Trump”

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban made laudatory statements about former United States (U.S.) President Donald Trump, highlighting his “peace-making” qualities.

In an interview, Orban described Trump as “the most successful American president on the international stage.”

“He did not start any wars. The Abraham accord was the only serious chance to bring peace, balance and an acceptable way of life to the very complicated Middle Eastern region,” said the Hungarian prime minister.

Orban added that he is convinced that if Donald Trump was the president of the U.S. in February 2022, “there would be no more wars in Europe”.

“Today I don’t see another leader in Europe or the U.S. who would be strong enough to stop the war. Peace has a name – Donald Trump,” Orban said.

Orban has attended several pro-Trump events in previous years and has openly expressed support for his re-election as president. He stated, among other things, that “if Trump was president, the war would not have started” in Ukraine, and that the return of Trump “would bring peace.” In response, Trump praised Orban.

Recently, the U.S. ambassador to Hungary, David Cornstein, harshly criticized Orban for openly supporting Donald Trump ahead of the election, Klix.ba writes.
