Tensions have been very high since the terrorist attacks in Paris, and bigotry towards Muslims is increasing.
President of the National Front Marie Le Pen called for closing the mosques and expulsion of Muslims from France. Her act was strongly condemned by the world public, and the striker of Paris Saint Germaine Zlatan Ibrahimović commented on all of it in his own style:
“My father Šefik is a Muslim, my mother is a Catholic. If that woman wants to expel all Muslims from the country, should I then cut off my Muslim leg and send it back to Sweden?”
Many Muslims around the world made comments about increased bigotry towards Muslims, among others Muhammad Ali, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Shaquille O’Neal etc.
