IBRD grants 2.3 Million EUR for Waste Waters Project

wasteThe Council of Ministers of BiH consolidated the Draft agreement on grant EC IPA TF No. TF0A1998 – PEND amounting to 2.322.300,00 EUR for the Waste Waters Project in Sarajevo, rehabilitation of the purifier in Butila, between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

Aim of the project is to improve the living conditions for population in the area controlled by Water Supply and Sewerage Network Sarajevo and the downstream settlement and to improve the efficiency of the network for collection of waste waters in the Sarajevo Canton.

The project includes the construction of the boiler room and ancillary facilities for the treatment of sludge at the purifier Butila, including the procurement of goods, works, equipment and consulting services.

Draft agreement with Basics for its conclusion will be forwarded to the Presidency of BiH, and the proposed signatory on behalf of BiH is the Minister of Finance and Treasury.
