13045626_1760393097530700_1045049703_nThe capital city of BiH this year should get ice hall in the campus of the University of Sarajevo. However, according to the main investors, the construction could be moved in Ilidza or even in Lukavica.

Problem for the main investor, hockey club “Vukovi”, is the unresolved issue of land where restaurant “Una” is placed within the Campus of UNSA. The problem should have been solved last week at the meeting of the Board of UNSA, however Rector Muharem Avdispahic did not appear on it. Because of these and similar problems, the investor is planning to relocate the construction the ice hall in Ilidza or Lukavica.

From Sarajevo University, however, claim the opposite. In fact, according to him, the Association of Citizens hockey club “Vukovi” filed the request on the 29th of September 2015 to build assembly-disassembly sports hall, which would be designed for ice sports, in the area of the university campus to the University of Sarajevo.

University of Sarajevo supports the initiative of the construction of assembly-disassembly sports hall in the area of the university campus, and they will undertake all activities in order to realize this project.

To recall, the idea for the construction of the ice hall in Sarajevo arose last year, and it should be located in the former barracks Safet Zajko in Halilovici. Municipality Novi Grad Sarajevo provided the land for the hall, which by the decision of the Government of the FBiH was assigned on management to this municipality.
