He will present these statements to the public before he retires.

Halevi succeeded Aviv Kohavi as head of the IDF in January 2023.
Halevi has several times admitted full responsibility for the failure of the Hamas attack.
Despite these reports, the IDF has denied that Halevi has set a definitive date for his resignation, stating that he remains focused on leading the military through the current conflict.
