IKEA: BiH is Important to us, Fix Roads and Infrastructure

ikeaIn the late August this year, the world’s largest furniture manufacturer IKEA opened a center in Croatia. For the year 2016 it announced the opening of five department stores in Serbia, and the expected value of the total investment is 300 million Euros. We decided to find the answer to the question of whether and when can we expect this Swedish company in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The fact that there is a great interest in IKEA is confirmed that the recently established group We want IKEA in BiH has more than 13,000 members.

“This is a truly impressive number. We are glad that currently there is such an interest in BiH for IKEA. BiH itself is very important for us, especially because of the cooperation we accomplish with several manufacturers for our products “says for the Klix.ba Igor Štefanac, regional PR manager of IKEA for South Eastern Europe.

To our question whether and when we can expect the department store IKEA in BiH, Štefanac answered that at this moment there is no decision to expand into the BH Market.

“As for the potential expansion of the retail network, for instance, opening of IKEA department stores, for now at the IKEA Group there is no decision about it. However, interesting countries are observed, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, but for now there is no indication when a decision could be brought, “adds Štefanac.
